How do I top up my card?

You can top up your card using a debit card via both the website and the mobile app. Please note: Credit cards cannot be used for top-ups.

Important

  • The debit card must be registered to the same address as your bYond card, otherwise the transaction may fail.
  • Make sure your address in your bYond account matches the address registered with your bank.

Saving your card details

After your first top-up, you can save your debit card details for faster future top-ups.
If you need to change the saved card, simply add a new one. This will replace the existing card, as we can only store one card at a time.

How to top up

On the website

  1. Select the Top Up option under your card image or underneath Balance

2. Enter the amount you want to top up. The maximum and minimum values will be displayed. At this point, you can also choose to save your card for quicker top-ups in the future. Click Continue.

3. You’ll be redirected to Trust Payments, our secure payment services provider. Choose your card type and enter your card details. Make sure all details are correct to ensure your top-up is successful. Your top-up will go through a 3D Secure (3DS) check. Your bank may ask you to authenticate the transaction for security. This could involve entering a one-time passcode or using another method your bank supports. If your bank cannot match your details or declines the 3DS check, your top-up will fail. Tip: If declined, try again or contact your bank.

4. Once your top-up is complete, we’ll update your balance immediately. You’ll also receive a confirmation email for your records. If you saved your card, future top-ups will only require your CVV (the three digits on the back of your card).
