What is cashback on your card?

Cashback* is a great way to earn money back when you spend with your bYond card at one of our partner retailers. Each retailer offers a specific cashback rate—usually a percentage of your purchase amount.

You can view the cashback rates in your online account either on the website or the bYond app under the Retailers section.

Here’s how it works:

1. Use your bYond card at a participating retailer.
2. Once your transaction settles, we’ll show you how much cashback you’ve earned.
3. Your cashback will appear as pending for 30 days, then it will be added to your Vault.
4. From your Vault, you decide when to transfer it to your card balance and use it toward your next purchase!

* Cashback is calculated on purchases at participating retailers and credited to your Cashback Vault 30 days after the relevant transaction settles. Cashback in the Vault, and any pending Cashback not yet credited, will be lost when your Card becomes Dormant after six months without use or reload, or three months after your Card is cancelled. You can avoid this by using or reloading your Card, or transferring Cashback to your Card Funds, before the relevant deadline. Rates vary by retailer and may change; refunded purchases may reverse Cashback. See the Card Terms for full details
