Why am I being asked to go to the bYond app when using my card?

As part of the recent PSD2 legislation, greater controls are being placed on online transactions. This means that moving forward if you have the bYond app downloaded you will be given the option to authenticate an online transaction by approving this in the bYond app. You may be familiar with this when you use any of your other payment cards, where you jump to your banks app to prove the transaction is being made by you and then complete your online purchase. 

If you don't have the bYond app downloaded, don't worry! We will use the mobile number we have saved against your account to send you a SMS to authenticate.
